Our newsletter, Georgia Defense Lawyer, not only contains information on the association's activities, but also includes recent legal updates. Annual Meeting

This yearly event brings together civil defense lawyers from all firm sizes and practice areas for networking, CLE and social activities. This year's Annual Meeting will be held at the beautiful Ponte Vedra Inn & Club in Florida. Bring the whole family!

GDLA Law Journal

The Law Journal is published each year and contains articles on trends and legal updates by lawyers practicing in the state of Georgia (on CD-ROM in a printer-friendly, searchable pdf format). The Law Journal is also sent to judges statewide.

Trial Academy

Each year, the GDLA hosts an intensive, three-day Trial Academy for younger lawyers covering a variety of trial techniques. Attendees watch and learn from experienced peers; then it's their turn to present what they've learned. Social activities and networking round out this educational event.

Deposition Boot Camp

Deposition Boot Camp is an intensive two-day lecture/demonstration seminar that covers all aspects of taking and defending depositions in civil litigation. Seasoned litigators guide younger lawyers through a series of lectures and breakout discussions to hone their deposition skills.

Active Young Lawyers Section

The GDLA is expanding its Young Lawyers (YL) section, offering younger lawyers an opportunity to get published, find a mentor, network with seasoned defense attorneys and judges at members-only events, as well as attend great CLE seminars like our Trial Academy and Deposition Boot Camp.

Online Attorney Directory

You will now be able to keep your membership listing up to date with your own password. Our membership directory is searchable by name and city by consumers and others on our website.
