| Description: | Please join us for a seminar to learn tips and techniques for effectively preparing for and deposing a plaintiff’s life care planner. The seminar will cover all steps to effectively prepare to rebut plaintiff’s life care planner including appropriate discovery requests to obtain necessary background or impeaching evidence, steps to analyze the life care plan for effective challenges and preparing your deposition examination. The panel discussion will include Roger Martin of Hall Booth Smith as well as Jud Wooddy and Michael Fryar of InQuis – a GDLA Platinum Sponsor. Roger Martin has extensive experience effectively deposing life care planners and will provide great practical tips for defense counsel. Michael Fryar is a life care planner who will provide insight on how to challenge a life care plan and create an effective examination that best attacks a plaintiff’s plan. CLE: Approved for 2.0 CLE hours including 2.0 trial hours When/Where: February 1 from 3:00 - 5:00 p.m. at the State Bar of Georgia Registration Fee: $50.00 for GDLA Members (members’ only event) - non-members who apply for membership can register to attend |
